FFF House is a freestanding family home designed for a young family of four in the Hungarian countryside. The project is conceived as a calm and compact domestic structure, responding to both the scale of everyday family life and the openness of its rural surroundings.

The design relies on expressive gestures, proportions, materiality and spatial clarity. The building is formed as a series of clearly articulated volumes, allowing the internal functions to be easily read from outside. This volumetric clarity results in a legible, functional layout that supports the changing needs of a growing family.

Materiality plays a key role in reinforcing the architectural concept. The use of a rendered surfaces and charred wood cladding establishes a strong yet balanced contrast, helping to differentiate between base and upper volumes. The textures and tones of the materials allow the house to sit naturally within its countryside context, aging gracefully over time.

FFF House aims to create a durable, adaptable home - rooted in regional construction culture, yet clearly contemporary in its architectural language.
